When it comes to electrical work, not all sparkies are created equal.
While standard electricians can take care of your everyday wiring and lighting needs, only a Level 2 electrician is licensed to work directly with the electricity network—meaning they can perform high-level, high-risk jobs like metering, power pole installations, and switchboard upgrades.
At Crowy’s Electrical, we’re fully licensed and accredited to carry out Level 2 electrical services across Gunnedah, Narrabri, Tamworth, and surrounding areas. Whether you’re building a new home, upgrading your meter board, or installing a private power pole—we’ve got the tools, training, and team to get the job done right.
🔌 What Is a Level 2 Electrician?
In NSW, a Level 2 electrician is a licensed Accredited Service Provider (ASP) authorised to work on the connection between your home or business and the electricity network.
This includes services like:
Service line disconnects & reconnects
Meter board (switchboard) upgrades
Private power pole installations
Overhead & underground mains connections
New metering and service upgrades
You’ll need a Level 2 electrician when you're building a new property, upgrading to three-phase power, replacing outdated switchboards, or needing power reconnected after renovations.
